Keith Barber
Keith Barber grew up in a northern Michigan family that was dedicated to the outdoors, spending many deer seasons in a Northern Michigan deer camp near Mackinaw City, Michigan.. Upon graduation form high school, Keith joined the US Navy. After leaving a U.S. Navy Dive Locker in Norfolk, Virginia, Keith decided to continue his career in the outdoors by becoming a whitetail outfitter back in his home state of Michigan.
Keith later began a career in corporate America with a company that specialized in vacation ownership. While he excelled at his career, his desire to work in the outdoors never died. After working there for 4 years, Keith came up with the idea of a hunting and fishing bank system, a system that would allow a sportsman to deposit a hunting or fishing trip, and allow them to pick a trip out, regardless of who went on their trip.
Keith pitched the idea to long time friend and co-worker Ove Klykken, and together Hunters Exchange, Inc was born.
